Higgsfield pricing: what each plan and credit really gets you
Higgsfield sells monthly credits. Ultra costs $129 for 3,000 credits (Higgsfield, 24 Oct 2026), about $0.043 a credit, so a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.0 clip at 22 credits is about $0.95. Starter and Plus prices differ between Higgsfield's own pages. If you will spend every credit each month, Ultra works; otherwise pay per clip through an API.
Key facts
| Ultra plan (as of 2026-10-26) | $129 a month for 3,000 credits, about $0.043 per credit[1] |
|---|---|
| Starter and Plus | Higgsfield's pricing guide says $15 for 200 and $49 for 1,000 credits; its billing page says $19 for 270 and $59 for 1,200[2] |

Higgsfield is a hub that sells access to other companies' video models (Seedance, Veo, Kling and its own tools) for monthly credits. It bills in credits and gives only a few dollar-per-clip estimates. This page converts the credits it lists into dollars on every plan and sets them against Runway's published API rate. Every figure is dated 26 October 2026.
What are Higgsfield's pricing plans?
Higgsfield has a free plan, three individual paid plans (Starter, Plus, Ultra) and business plans (Team, Scale, Enterprise). Its own pages disagree on the two cheaper ones.
Higgsfield's pricing guide and its billing page were both checked on 24 October 2026 and list different numbers:
| Plan | Pricing guide | Billing page | Cost per credit (guide / billing page) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $15, 200 credits | $19, 270 credits | $0.075 / $0.070 |
| Plus | $49, 1,000 credits | $59, 1,200 credits | $0.049 / $0.049 |
| Ultra | $129, 3,000 credits | $129, 3,000 credits | $0.043 |
Ultra matches on both pages. Krea's guide, updated 23 October 2026, lists Starter at $19 and Plus at $59 monthly, with Plus at $47 and Ultra at $99 a month on annual billing. Higgsfield's September guide to annual plans also lists Ultra at $99 a month annual, which is 3,000 credits for $0.033 each. Team is $79 per seat for 1,000 credits and Scale $215 per seat for 2,500, according to the pricing guide. Prices exclude tax and vary by country, so confirm the final figure at checkout.
How many credits does one Higgsfield clip cost?
A 5-second Seedance 2.0 clip costs about 22 credits at 720p, 60 at 1080p and 110 at 4K, according to Higgsfield's pricing guide.
The same guide lists these other video rates:
| Model and setting | Credits |
|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5, 5 s, 720p | 35 |
| Seedance 2.5, 5 s, 1080p | 80 |
| Seedance 2.5, 30 s, 720p | 210 |
| Veo 3 Fast with audio, 8 s, 720p | about 22 |
| Veo 3 with audio, 8 s, 720p | about 58 |
| Marketing Studio UGC ad, 10 s, 720p | 70 |
The guide lists no credit cost for Kling clips. A September Higgsfield post gave Kling 3.0 at 8 seconds and 1080p as 20 credits, about $1.00. It also gave Seedance 2.5 at 8 seconds and 1080p as 72 credits, while the October guide gives 80 credits for 5 seconds. Rates move between posts, so read the price on the Generate button before you confirm. Krea reports Seedance 2.0 at 23 credits (720p) and 45 credits (1080p) for 5 seconds, which differs from Higgsfield's guide.
What does a Higgsfield clip cost in dollars compared with an API?
On Ultra, a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.0 clip costs about $0.95, against $1.50 on Runway's API. At 1080p it flips: $2.58 on Ultra against $2.00.
Dollar figures multiply credits by the cost per credit of each plan; our credits converter does the same sum for other apps. The comparison column is Runway's API list rate, where one credit is $0.01, for five seconds of generation without input or reference video. Runway adds $0.15 per input-video second at 720p and $0.34 at 1080p for Seedance 2.5. Runway resells the models, so its rate is a published reference price and not a floor.
| Clip | Credits | Plus ($0.049) | Ultra ($0.043) | Ultra annual ($0.033) | Runway API |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.0, 5 s, 720p | 22 | $1.08 | $0.95 | $0.73 | $1.50 |
| Seedance 2.0, 5 s, 1080p | 60 | $2.94 | $2.58 | $1.98 | $2.00 |
| Seedance 2.0, 5 s, 4K | 110 | $5.39 | $4.73 | $3.63 | $7.50 |
| Seedance 2.5, 5 s, 720p | 35 | $1.72 | $1.51 | $1.16 | $1.50 |
| Seedance 2.5, 5 s, 1080p | 80 | $3.92 | $3.44 | $2.64 | $3.40 |
| Veo 3 Fast + audio, 8 s | 22 | $1.08 | $0.95 | $0.73 | $1.20 (Veo 3.1 Fast) |
| Veo 3 + audio, 8 s | 58 | $2.84 | $2.49 | $1.91 | $3.20 (Veo 3.1) |
Runway's rates, read on 26 October 2026: Seedance 2.0 is 30 credits a second at 720p, 40 at 1080p and 150 at 4K. Seedance 2.5 is 30 at 720p and 68 at 1080p. Veo 3.1 is 40 credits a second with audio and Veo 3.1 Fast is 15. The two Veo rows compare different versions, so they show scale and not parity. Runway does not list Veo 3. Google's Veo documentation marks Veo 3 as deprecated and says the Veo 3.1 preview models shut down on 22 October 2026, so check which Veo version a Higgsfield tile actually runs.
The result is mixed. Ultra's credit price, about 29% above Runway's 1080p Seedance 2.0 rate, only beats the API at 720p and 4K. On Seedance 2.5 it is level. Annual Ultra at $0.033 a credit is below the API rate on every row, though the Veo rows compare different versions.
For Kling, see our Kling AI pricing guide. Runway lists Kling 3.0 Standard at $0.09 a second silent and $0.13 with audio, so an 8-second clip is $0.72 or $1.04.
What does a usable clip cost after retries?
Cost per usable clip is the credits per attempt divided by your keep rate, times the cost per credit. Here is a worked example for 1080p Seedance 2.0.
Say you want 10 finished 5-second clips and keep one in three. That is 30 attempts at 60 credits, or 1,800 credits.
- Runway API: 30 attempts at $2.00 is $60, or $6.00 per keeper.
- Ultra monthly: 1,800 credits is $77.40 at list value, but you pay $129 for the month. If that is all you render, each keeper costs $12.90.
- Ultra, all 3,000 credits spent: 50 attempts, about 16.7 keepers, so $7.74 per keeper.
- Plus, 960 of 1,000 credits spent: 16 attempts, about 5.3 keepers, so $9.19 per keeper.
At 1080p, Runway's API wins even when you spend every Ultra credit. At the listed rates, Ultra first beats Runway at 720p after 87 five-second attempts a month, and at 4K after 18. Unspent subscription credits are lost at renewal.
Higgsfield says failed generations get their credits back automatically, usually within a few minutes. Grok is the exception: its credits are taken when a generation starts. Clips that finish but look wrong are charged. If you set a batch of 2, 3 or 4 outputs, each output is charged separately.
Do Higgsfield credits roll over, and what happens at renewal?
Higgsfield subscription credits do not roll over. They reset at renewal and any unused ones expire.
Other renewal rules from Higgsfield's help pages and billing page:
- Subscriptions renew automatically on the purchase anniversary until you cancel. Annual plans are billed for the full year upfront.
- On annual plans, credits reset every 30 days, so the reset day can drift from the billing date.
- Upgrading resets your billing date to the upgrade date. Downgrades start at the next cycle.
- Higgsfield says it gives at least 30 days' email notice before a price increase.
- A failed payment makes the account past due, and you typically have 14 days to fix it.
- Credit packs and auto-refill credits expire 90 days after purchase. Subscription credits are spent first.
The 90-day pack rule is stated consistently. What happens to packs after you cancel is not: one help page says they stay on the free plan, and its own FAQ says they are unavailable until you reactivate.
Can you get a refund from Higgsfield?
Higgsfield refunds a first purchase within 7 days if you used none of its credits, minus a service fee of up to 6%. Renewals are not refundable.
EEA and UK customers have a separate 14-day withdrawal right. Higgsfield says approved refunds take up to 3 business days. Cancelling stops the next charge and keeps access until the paid period ends, with no refund for the rest. The page Higgsfield wrote to answer billing complaints says most complaints trace to these published rules, which are easy to miss at checkout. Annual plans are billed upfront, so the standard refund window is the first seven days with no credits used.
Is Higgsfield unlimited really unlimited?
No. Higgsfield's Unlimited setting waives credits for a named list of models, usually for a time window, and only on higgsfield.ai.
According to the pricing guide, Plus and Ultra get a 365-day set of image models. Each also gets 7-day windows: Plus on Nano Banana 2, Ultra on Nano Banana Pro, and the annual plans on Kling 3.0 at 720p and 5 seconds. Running through MCP, CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer always costs credits. Higgsfield's help page says unlimited jobs share a pool, so they can be slower, and have a lower parallel limit than credit plans. The July Seedance Unlimited promotion capped users at one generation at a time and 720p. Higgsfield's own launch statistic was an average generation time under 5 minutes across 23,913 generations in the first 7 hours.
Is Higgsfield worth it?
Higgsfield is worth it if you spend most of your monthly credits and want several models in one place. It is poor value if you render a few clips a month.
Use this checklist:
- Will you spend most of the plan's credits every month? If not, use pay-per-use.
- Do you render mostly at 720p or 4K? That is where Ultra is cheaper than Runway's API rate.
- Do you need Seedance, Veo and Kling in one account? Then one plan saves switching.
- Can you commit to a year? Annual Ultra is the lowest credit price listed.
- Do you plan to automate with MCP or CLI? It always uses credits.
For a single model, compare the plan against a direct route first, or see Higgsfield alternatives. Our guides to free Seedance 2.0 options and Sora alternatives cover other ways in, and the Learn hub lists more cost guides.
Questions
Does Higgsfield have unlimited video generation?
Only for a short list of models and for a limited window. Higgsfield's Unlimited setting waives credits on selected models, and the Kling 3.0 window on the annual plans is 720p and 5 seconds. It works on higgsfield.ai only, and MCP, CLI, Canvas and Supercomputer runs always use credits.
Do Higgsfield credits roll over?
Subscription credits do not roll over. They reset at renewal and expire. Credit packs and auto-refill credits last 90 days from purchase and are bought on top of a subscription. Higgsfield's own help page contradicts itself on whether packs work after you cancel.
Can I get a refund on Higgsfield?
A first purchase is refundable within 7 days if you have used none of its credits, minus a fee of up to 6%. Renewals are not refundable. EEA and UK customers have a separate 14-day withdrawal right that ends early once purchased digital content is used. Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.
Is Higgsfield cheaper than using Kling, Seedance or Veo directly?
It depends on the model and resolution. On Ultra, 720p Seedance 2.0 is cheaper than Runway's API rate, 1080p Seedance 2.0 is about 29% dearer, and Seedance 2.5 is level. The plan fee is the larger risk, because credits you do not spend are lost at renewal.
