Privacy Policy

This explains what personal data HoneyVid handles and why. The controller is Beundra AB, Sweden. Contact: support@honeyvid.ai.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and sign-in details, handled by our login provider Clerk.
- Uploaded images: the character images you upload.
- Generated videos: the videos we make for you, and details such as template, quality and credit use.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. We receive things like payment status, plan and the last digits of a card.
- Basic logs: IP address, device and browser type, and error and security logs, to keep the service working and safe.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your images or videos to train AI models.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To run your account and make your videos (contract).
- To take payments, keep accounting records and follow the law (contract and legal obligation).
- To prevent abuse and fraud and keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
- To answer your messages (contract or legitimate interest).
Who processes your data
- Clerk: sign-in and accounts.
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- Cloudflare: hosting, delivery and file storage (R2).
- fal and Runway: AI video generation. Your uploaded image and the template are sent to them to create the video.
These providers act on our behalf under data processing terms. We may change providers; this page will be updated if we do.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some providers are based in or process data in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (where the provider is certified) or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with extra safeguards where needed.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded images and generated videos: kept until you delete them or your account, and in any case no longer than 12 months after your last activity.
- Account data: while your account exists.
- Payment and invoice records: 7 years, as required by Swedish accounting law.
- Logs: up to 30 days.
Our AI providers may keep inputs and outputs for a short time under their own terms to run and secure their services.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. To use any right, email support@honeyvid.ai. We answer within one month.
Deletion on request: tell us and we will delete your account, images and videos, except records we must keep by law (such as invoices).
You can complain to the Swedish supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), imy.se, or to the authority in your country.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and storage needed for sign-in and security. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
HoneyVid is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Do not upload images of minors.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email.
