AI video credits converter: Kling, Runway, Higgsfield and Flow credits to seconds and dollars
To convert AI video credits, divide credits by the model's credits per second to get seconds, then multiply credits by your plan's price per credit to get dollars. Kling Standard costs $8.80 for 660 credits, about $0.0133 each (Kling, 5 Nov 2026). At 12 credits a second, that buys about 55 seconds.
Key facts
| Kling plans (as of 2026-11-05) | Standard 660 credits for $8.80, Pro 3,000 for $32.56, Premier 8,000 for $80.96, Ultra 26,000 for $159.99 (renewal prices)[1] |
|---|---|
| Kling VIDEO 3.0 credits per second | 720p: 6 without audio, 9 with audio. 1080p: 8 without audio, 12 with audio. Voice control adds 2[2] |
| Kling top-up rate | $1 = 66 credits, about $0.0152 per credit[3] |
| Runway credit price (API) | $0.01 per credit; Gen-4.5 is 12 credits per second[4] |
| Runway app plans (annual billing) | Standard $12 for 625 credits, Pro $28 for 2,250, Max $76 for 9,500[5] |
| Higgsfield plans | Starter $15 for 200 credits, Plus $49 for 1,000, Ultra $129 for 3,000[6] |
| Flow credits per Veo 3.1 Fast clip | 20 for most plans, 10 for Ultra subscribers, for a 4, 6 or 8 second clip[7] |
Kling, Runway, Higgsfield and Flow all sell credits, and each credit buys a different amount of video. This page converts them to two numbers you can compare: seconds of video and dollars. Every rate was checked on 5 November 2026 and comes from the company's own pages.
How do you convert AI video credits to seconds and dollars?
Divide your credits by the model's credits per second to get seconds. Multiply your credits by the plan's price per credit to get dollars.
- Seconds = credits ÷ credits per second.
- Price per credit = plan price ÷ credits in the plan.
- Dollars per second = credits per second × price per credit.
- Dollars per kept clip = dollars per second × clip length ÷ the share of clips you keep.
Two inputs change the result. The model and settings set the credits per second. The plan sets the price per credit. The same Kling clip can cost you $0.07 or $0.18 a second depending only on the plan, and nothing in the model changes.
How much is one credit worth on each plan?
One credit is worth between $0.006 and $0.075 depending on the app and plan. The table divides each published plan price by its published credits.
| App and plan | Price | Credits | Price per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kling Ultra | $159.99 | 26,000 | $0.0062 |
| Kling Premier | $80.96 | 8,000 | $0.0101 |
| Kling Pro | $32.56 | 3,000 | $0.0109 |
| Kling Standard | $8.80 | 660 | $0.0133 |
| Kling top-up | $1 | 66 | $0.0152 |
| Runway Max (annual billing) | $76 | 9,500 | $0.0080 |
| Runway API | $0.01 per credit | n/a | $0.0100 |
| Runway Pro (annual billing) | $28 | 2,250 | $0.0124 |
| Runway Standard (annual billing) | $12 | 625 | $0.0192 |
| Higgsfield Ultra | $129 | 3,000 | $0.0430 |
| Higgsfield Plus | $49 | 1,000 | $0.0490 |
| Higgsfield Starter | $15 | 200 | $0.0750 |
Kling prices are renewal prices from Kling's credit guide. New subscribers pay less in month one: $6.99, $25.99, $64.99 and $127.99. Runway's monthly billing costs $15 for Standard, $35 for Pro and $95 for Max, which makes $0.0240, $0.0156 and $0.0100 per credit. Google Flow credits come with Google AI plans, so Flow is priced in credits below.
A Higgsfield credit costs about three to twelve times a Kling credit. That says nothing about which app is cheaper, because Higgsfield also uses fewer credits per second for some models.
How many seconds do 1,000 credits buy?
The seconds that 1,000 credits buy range from 23 (Kling 3.0 4K on Runway) to about 364 (Veo 3 Fast on Higgsfield). The table divides 1,000 by each model's credits per second.
| App and setting | Credits per second | Seconds per 1,000 credits |
|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0, 720p, no audio | 6 | 167 |
| Kling 3.0, 1080p, no audio | 8 | 125 |
| Kling 3.0, 720p, native audio | 9 | 111 |
| Kling 3.0, 1080p, native audio | 12 | 83 |
| Kling VIDEO 3.0 series, native 4K (Kling) | 30 | 33 |
| Runway: Kling 3.0 Standard, no audio | 9 | 111 |
| Runway: Kling 3.0 Standard, audio | 13 | 77 |
| Runway: Kling 3.0 Pro, audio | 17 | 59 |
| Runway: Kling 3.0 4K | 43 | 23 |
| Runway: Gen-4.5 | 12 | 83 |
| Runway: Wan 3.0, 720p | 10 | 100 |
| Runway: Veo 3.1 Fast, audio | 15 | 67 |
| Runway: Veo 3.1, audio | 40 | 25 |
| Runway: Seedance 2.0, 1080p | 40 | 25 |
| Higgsfield: Seedance 2.0, 720p | 6 | 167 |
| Higgsfield: Seedance 2.0, 1080p | 12 | 83 |
| Higgsfield: Seedance 2.5, 720p | 7 | 143 |
| Higgsfield: Seedance 2.5, 1080p | 16 | 63 |
| Higgsfield: Veo 3 Fast, audio, 720p | 2.75 | 364 |
| Higgsfield: Veo 3, audio, 720p | 7.25 | 138 |
How to read the sources behind this table:
- Kling rows. The 720p and 1080p rates come from Kling's VIDEO 3.0 user guide. The 30 credits per second for native 4K comes from Kling's credit guide.
- Runway rows. They come from Runway's API page, which prices Kling, Veo and others in Runway credits. The Runway app page confirms Gen-4.5 at 12 credits per second and Seedance 2.0 Pro at 40.
- Higgsfield rows. Higgsfield publishes credits per clip, not per second. We divided its figures: 30 credits for a 5-second Seedance 2.0 720p clip (as of 5 November 2026), 60 at 1080p, 35 and 80 for Seedance 2.5, and about 22 and 58 for 8-second Veo clips. Higgsfield's figures are approximate, so these rows are too. Higgsfield lists no Kling credit cost.
How many credits is a Google Flow video?
Flow's Veo 3.1 Fast charges the same credits for a 4, 6 or 8 second clip: 20 for most plans and 10 for Ultra. Gemini Omni Flash charges more as the clip gets longer.
| Flow model | Credits per clip | Seconds per 1,000 credits |
|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 Lite, 8 s (non-Ultra) | 10 | 800 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast, 8 s (non-Ultra) | 20 | 400 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast, 4 s (non-Ultra) | 20 | 200 |
| Veo 3.1 Quality, 8 s (all users) | 100 | 80 |
| Gemini Omni Flash, 720p, 8 s | 12 | 667 |
| Gemini Omni Flash, 720p, 10 s | 15 | 667 |
| Gemini Omni Flash, 360p, 8 s | 6 | 1,333 |
Because Veo clips are priced per clip, an 8-second Fast clip costs half as much per second as a 4-second one. Pick the longest length you will use. Google's help page says every account gets 50 credits a day.
How many seconds does each plan give per month?
A plan gives monthly credits divided by credits per second. The table fixes one model per app so the plans can be compared, and uses the rates above.
| App and plan | Monthly credits | Model and setting | Seconds per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kling Standard | 660 | Kling 3.0 1080p audio, 12/s | 55 |
| Kling Pro | 3,000 | same | 250 |
| Kling Premier | 8,000 | same | 667 |
| Kling Ultra | 26,000 | same | 2,167 |
| Runway Standard | 625 | Gen-4.5, 12/s | 52 |
| Runway Pro | 2,250 | same | 188 |
| Runway Max | 9,500 | same | 792 |
| Higgsfield Plus | 1,000 | Seedance 2.0 720p, 6/s | 167 |
| Higgsfield Ultra | 3,000 | same | 500 |
| Google AI Plus | 200 | Veo 3.1 Fast, 8 s clips, 20 credits | 80 (10 clips) |
| Google AI Pro | 1,000 | same | 400 (50 clips) |
| Google AI Ultra ($100) | 10,000 | Veo 3.1 Fast, 8 s clips, 10 credits | 8,000 (1,000 clips) |
Flow rows exclude the 50 daily credits, which come on top and do not roll over. Kling Basic and the Runway free plan give no monthly credits. Higgsfield Starter opens only some models, so it is left out. These seconds are attempts, not finished videos. Divide by your retry count to get seconds you keep.
Worked example: 30 seconds of finished video on each platform
Thirty seconds of video in one setting costs about $2.22 to $17.64, depending on app, plan and settings. Here is the sum for each, with every clip kept on the first try. Higgsfield rows use six 5-second clips, the length Higgsfield prices.
| Route | Credits per second | Credits for 30 s | Price per credit | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kling Ultra, 1080p audio | 12 | 360 | $0.0062 | $2.22 |
| Kling Standard, 1080p audio | 12 | 360 | $0.0133 | $4.80 |
| Runway API, Kling 3.0 Standard audio | 13 | 390 | $0.0100 | $3.90 |
| Runway API, Seedance 2.0 1080p | 40 | 1,200 | $0.0100 | $12.00 |
| Higgsfield Ultra, Seedance 2.0 1080p | 12 | 360 | $0.0430 | $15.48 |
| Higgsfield Plus, Seedance 2.0 1080p | 12 | 360 | $0.0490 | $17.64 |
Higgsfield uses about 360 credits for the same 30 seconds that Runway's API prices at 1,200. Runway's API still comes out cheaper, $12.00 against $15.48 on Ultra, because a Higgsfield credit costs more than four times as much. Credits alone never tell you which app is cheaper. The dollar line does.
If you keep one clip in three, multiply each cost by three. The Kling Ultra line becomes $6.66 and the Runway API Seedance line becomes $36.00.
Plan credits only match these costs if you spend them. Kling, Higgsfield and Flow credits do not roll over on monthly plans. If you use half of Kling Ultra's credits, the real price per credit doubles to about $0.0123.
Which credits calculator should you trust?
Trust a calculator that shows its rate, its plan price and the date.
- CostGoat's Kling page (updated 4 November 2026) prices Kling models per second on fal, a third-party host. Those are not Kling's own plan credits.
- Kling's credit guide shows plan credits and an "as low as" price per 100 credits. The per-second credit rates sit in the separate VIDEO 3.0 user guide.
The tables on this page do the opposite: each rate has a source and a date, and each plan price is divided by its own credits. For deeper plan detail, see our guides to Kling AI pricing, Higgsfield pricing and Google Flow pricing. For retries and audio surcharges across models, use the AI video cost calculator.
What can change these numbers?
Credit rates, plan prices and promotions change often, so re-check the generation panel before you pay. These are the known moving parts as of 5 November 2026.
- Promotions. Runway's API prices Kling 4.0 at 12.56 credits per second at 720p and 18.8 at 1080p through 30 November 2026 UTC. List rates of 15.7 and 23.5 apply from 1 December.
- Kling first-month prices. Kling's discount applies to the first subscription only.
- Reference video and add-ons. Runway charges some models extra for input video, for example Seedance 2.5 at 15 credits per second of reference video at 720p. Kling's 3.0 voice control adds 2 credits per second.
- Minimums. Runway sets a minimum of 80 credits per Seedance 2.5 generation and 56 for Seedance 2.0.
- Expiry. Kling's monthly plan credits last one month and purchased credits last two years. Credits that expire sooner are spent first.
What changed
- 5 November 2026: Higgsfield now charges 30 credits for a 5-second 720p Seedance 2.0 clip (was 22), so the rate is 6 credits a second (was 4.4) and 1,000 credits buy 167 seconds (was 227). Higgsfield Ultra now gives 500 seconds a month at that setting (was 682).
- 5 November 2026: Kling's credits policy now ties daily login credits to subscribers during promotional events, so the free-plan answer no longer implies free daily credits. CostGoat's Kling page was updated on 4 November 2026 (was 25 October).
Questions
How much are Kling AI credits?
On a subscription, Kling credits cost between $0.0062 (Ultra, $159.99 for 26,000) and $0.0133 (Standard, $8.80 for 660) each at renewal prices, as of 5 November 2026. Buying extra credits costs $1 for 66, about $0.0152 each. New subscribers see lower first-month prices.
How much does Kling 3.0 cost per credit?
The model does not set the price of a credit. Your plan does. Kling 3.0 uses a number of credits per second, and each credit costs $0.0062 to $0.0152 depending on whether you are on Ultra or buying a top-up. Kling publishes its rates: 6 to 12 credits per second at 720p and 1080p, and 30 for native 4K.
Is Kling AI free?
Kling has a free Basic plan with no monthly credits listed on its plan table. Its credits policy gives daily login credits to subscribers during promotional events, issued on the first login each day and reset at 24:00, in amounts set by each announcement.
Are Runway credits the same as Kling credits?
No. A Runway credit is a Runway unit and a Kling credit is a Kling unit. Runway's API sells credits at $0.01 each and charges its own number of credits per second for Kling models, so the same Kling clip costs different credits in each app.
Do credits roll over if I do not use them?
Usually not. Kling's monthly plan credits last one month. Flow's daily and monthly credits do not roll over. Higgsfield's subscription credits reset each cycle. Kling's purchased credits last two years.
