## Short answer

Google Flow gives every account 50 credits a day. Paid plans add 200 (AI Plus), 1,000 (Pro), 10,000 (Ultra $100) or 25,000 (Ultra $200) credits a month (Google Flow Help, 2026-11-05). A Veo 3.1 Fast clip costs 20 credits, Lite 10, Quality 100. If you want Quality clips, you need a paid plan; otherwise Fast covers most work.

Google does not publish a Veo clip count per plan. It publishes credits per clip and credits per plan. This page divides one by the other, using Google's published numbers as of 2026-11-05, so you can see how many clips each plan buys.

## How much does Google Flow cost and what credits do you get?

Google Flow charges in credits: 50 a day on every account, and 200 to 25,000 extra each month on a paid Google AI plan.

| Plan | Daily credits | Monthly credits |
| --- | --- | --- |
| No subscription | 50 | None |
| Google AI Plus | 50 | 200 |
| Google AI Pro | 50 | 1,000 |
| Google AI Ultra $100 | 50 | 10,000 |
| Google AI Ultra $200 | 50 | 25,000 |

The table follows [Google's Flow credits page](https://support.google.com/flow/answer/16526234), checked 2026-11-05. Google's [AI plans page](https://one.google.com/about/google-ai-plans/) lists the same monthly amounts. It shows the Ultra tiers as 5x and 20x.

In the US, [Google AI Pro is $19.99 a month and Google AI Ultra starts at $99.99 a month](https://one.google.com/intl/en_us/about/google-ai-plans/). Ultra is billed monthly only. Plus prices vary by country, so check Google's plan page for yours.

## How many credits does one Veo 3.1 clip cost?

A Veo 3.1 clip costs 10 credits on Lite, 20 on Fast and 100 on Quality for most plans, and Ultra pays half on Lite and Fast. Lower Priority Lite is free on Ultra $200 (20x) for subscribers and family plan managers. Ultra $100 subscribers and Ultra family members cannot use it.

| Model | Length | Non-Ultra | Ultra |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Veo 3.1 Lite (Lower Priority) | 4, 6 or 8 s | Not available | 0 on Ultra $200, not available on Ultra $100 |
| Veo 3.1 Lite | 4, 6 or 8 s | 10 | 5 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast | 4, 6 or 8 s | 20 | 10 |
| Veo 3.1 Quality | 8 s | 100 | 100 |
| Gemini Omni Flash, 720p | 4, 6, 8, 10 s | 7, 10, 12, 15 | 7, 10, 12, 15 |
| Gemini Omni Flash, 360p | 4, 6, 8, 10 s | 4, 5, 6, 7 | 4, 5, 6, 7 |

Extend uses the same credit price as a new clip on the Veo models. Editing a video with Omni Flash costs 40 credits. Upscaling to 1080p is free on Plus, Pro and Ultra. Upscaling to 4K costs 50 credits and is Ultra only. Google shows the live cost under Settings at the top right of the prompt box, so check it before you generate.

## Veo 3 daily limit: how many videos per day in Flow?

On the free daily 50 credits, Flow buys five Veo 3.1 Lite clips, or two Fast clips, or zero Quality clips.

Lower Priority Lite costs 0 credits for Ultra $200 (20x) subscribers and family plan managers. Ultra $100 subscribers, Ultra family members and non-Ultra accounts cannot use it. A non-Ultra account pays 10 credits for Lite, 20 for Fast, and 12 or 6 for an 8-second Omni Flash clip at 720p or 360p.

| Daily 50 credits | Clips per day |
| --- | --- |
| Veo 3.1 Lite, 10 credits (non-Ultra) | 5 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast, 20 credits (non-Ultra) | 2 |
| Veo 3.1 Fast, 10 credits (Ultra) | 5 |
| Veo 3.1 Lite, 5 credits (Ultra) | 10 |
| Veo 3.1 Quality, 100 credits | 0 |
| Omni Flash 8 s, 720p, 12 credits | 4 |
| Omni Flash 8 s, 360p, 6 credits | 8 |

Free accounts also hit a time limit. If you only want to try Veo, see [how to use Veo 3 for free](https://honeyvid.ai/learn/how-to-use-veo-3-free/). [Google says](https://support.google.com/flow/answer/16526234) that from roughly 2 PM to 5 PM UTC, accounts without a subscription may be unable to generate video. Image generation stays available then.

## Veo 3 credits per month: clips by plan

Each paid plan's monthly credits convert to clips by dividing the pool by the credit price; the table below ignores the daily 50.

| Plan (monthly credits) | Quality (100) | Fast | Lite | Omni Flash 8 s, 720p |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| AI Plus (200) | 2 | 10 | 20 | 16 |
| AI Pro (1,000) | 10 | 50 | 100 | 83 |
| Ultra $100 (10,000) | 100 | 1,000 | 2,000 | 833 |
| Ultra $200 (25,000) | 250 | 2,500 | 5,000 | 2,083 |

Fast and Lite use the Ultra price on the two Ultra rows (10 and 5 credits). On Plus and Pro they use 20 and 10 credits. The daily 50 sits on top. If you generate every day for 30 days, that adds 1,500 credits, which is more than the whole monthly pool on Pro.

Unused daily and monthly subscription credits do not roll over. Monthly credits reset at your billing cycle and daily credits reset after your first generation of the day. Purchased AI credits follow the expiration terms shown when you buy them. Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers can buy extra AI credits in supported regions, except Japan.

## What does a usable Veo clip cost once you count retries?

A usable clip costs the credit price of one try multiplied by the number of tries it takes to get a keeper.

Say one try in four is a keeper. Swap in your own ratio. Google bills per generation, not per request, so a request that returns several clips costs for each one.

- Fast on Pro: 20 credits × 4 tries = 80 credits per keeper. A 1,000-credit month gives 12 keepers.
- Quality on Pro: 100 × 4 = 400 credits per keeper. A month gives 2 keepers.
- Fast on Ultra: 10 × 4 = 40 credits per keeper. 10,000 credits give 250 keepers.
- Lite in Lower Priority (Ultra $200 subscribers and family plan managers): 0 credits per try, so the cost is your time.

Draft on Fast, then spend Quality credits only on a prompt you already know works. On Pro, one Quality try costs as much as five Fast tries. ## Google Flow credits vs other AI video tools

Flow credits are only comparable to another tool after you convert them to credits per finished second of video.

Google sets the price in credits, and a Fast clip is 20 credits on a non-Ultra plan whatever the clip length from 4 to 8 seconds, so an 8-second clip costs 2.5 credits per second. Use the [AI video cost calculator](https://honeyvid.ai/learn/ai-video-cost-calculator/) to compare, and read [Veo 3 vs Sora 2](https://honeyvid.ai/learn/veo-3-vs-sora-2/) if you are choosing a model rather than a plan.

## What the top Flow pricing pages leave out

[The Rundown](https://www.therundown.ai/tools/flow) lists plans and monthly credits but never says what one video costs in credits. A reader cannot get from "1,000 credits" to a clip count there. The tables above close that gap from Google's own credits page.

## What changed

- 2026-11-05: Google limited free Lower Priority Veo 3.1 Lite to Ultra $200 (20x) subscribers and family plan managers; Ultra $100 subscribers no longer get it.

## Questions

### Is there a fixed Veo 3 daily limit in Flow?

Google states no clip count. The limit is a credit balance: 50 credits a day on every account, plus a monthly pool on paid plans. At 20 credits per Fast clip, the free daily 50 buys two clips.

### Do unused Flow credits roll over?

No. Unused daily and monthly subscription credits do not roll over. Purchased AI credits follow the expiration terms shown when you buy them.

### Do failed or bad generations cost credits?

Failures are free. Google says that if an AI tool fails, [your remaining AI credits won't be affected](https://support.google.com/googleone/answer/16287445), though they may take a while to reappear. A finished clip you dislike still costs its credits. The live cost shows under Settings in the prompt box.

### Can I use Veo 3.1 Quality on the free plan?

Not in a single day. A Quality clip costs 100 credits and an account without a subscription gets 50 a day. Lite and Fast fit inside the free allowance.
